The MEDALLION project will organize its final seminar as part of MatchXR 2026 on 12 November 2026 at Metropolia Arabia Campus, Helsinki. During the seminar, project partners will present key outcomes from the project and discuss how medical metaverse technologies, explainable AI, and immersive interaction can advance future healthcare.
The MEDALLION session, titled “Advancing and Automating Healthcare with the Medical Metaverse and Explainable AI”, will feature presentations from project partners including Roope Raisamo (Tampere University), Sebastian Remander (AMD Silo AI), Helena Ahonen-Myka (Lingsoft), Johannes Halttu (Turku University of Applied Sciences) and Jaakko Sahlsten (Aalto University).
Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore demonstrations showcasing technologies and applications developed within the project. The demos highlight innovative approaches to combining AI, XR, and medical expertise to support healthcare professionals and improve medical processes.
